This privacy statement explains how GPI collect, use, share and protect the personal information of those who visit our site, register and participate in our courses and communications.

Applies to: website, registration forms, payment platforms, LMS, video conferencing (e.g., Google Meet), email marketing, and support. Does not cover third-party services that operate with their own policies.

  • Identifiers: first name, last name, country/state, email, phone number.
  • Transactional data: courses purchased, amounts paid, date/time, payment status (we do not store the full card number).
  • Course data: attendance, activity, tasks, chat messages, grades (if applicable), surveys.
  • Support: communications with email@gaviotainstitute.com.
  • Technical/use: IP, browser type, device, pages visited, cookies and similar technologies.
  • Recordings: audio/video/live chat sessions (see Terms).
  • Marketing: subscription preferences, email openings and clicks.

3) Basis and purposes of the treatment

We use your data to:

  • Provision of the service: process payments, give you access, manage enrollment and support.
  • Communications: send you instructions, operational notices and reminders.
  • Improvement and security: operational analysis, fraud prevention, audits.
  • Legal compliance: accounting, tax and regulatory obligations in FL and PR.
  • Own marketing: newsletters, launches and offers related to our institute. We do not sell your information to third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4) Email & SMS (Marketing)

  • Promotional emails in accordance with CAN-SPAMYou can unsubscribe with the link in each email or by writing to email@gaviotainstitute.com.
  • If we used SMS, we would comply TCPA: Clear opt-in, “STOP” to exit, “HELP” for help. Carrier charges may apply.

We process and store data primarily in United StatesIf you access this information from Puerto Rico or other jurisdictions, you agree to the transfer in accordance with applicable laws.

8) Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purposes described and for additional periods required by law (e.g., tax obligations). we eliminate or we anonymize safely.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data. However, none This method is 100% foolproof. We recommend good practices (strong passwords, updated devices).

Sessions may be recorded. We will treat the content confidentially for educational, quality, and support purposes. If we wish to use excerpts for promotional purposes, we will request your additional authorization.
