1) Acceptance of the terms
By registering for, paying for, accessing, or participating in any course, workshop, live class, or recording offered by GPI, you fully agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2) Who we are and contact

Operating Address: 7560 Red Bug Lake Rd, Suite 2020, Oviedo, FL 32792 (USA).
Support hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Florida local time). Response times may vary on weekends/holidays.
3) Participation requirements
- You must be 18 years or older. Participants ages 13–17 only with written consent from a parent/guardian.
- Technical requirements: stable internet connection, compatible device, updated browser, and, where applicable, a video conferencing platform account (e.g., Google Meet). GPI is not responsible for any failures in your equipment, network, software, or internet service provider.
- GPI may restrict or deny access to anyone who violates these terms or the rules of conduct.
4) Educational nature – It is not clinical or emergency care
Unless otherwise stated in writing, our courses and workshops are for educational purposes only. They do not constitute diagnosis, medical or psychological treatment, nor do they replace individual therapy.
- In case of emergency, call 911 (US/PR) or your local emergency services.
- Participation does not create a therapist-patient relationship.
5) Calendar, changes and rescheduling
- GPI may modify dates, times, instructors, syllabus, or modality for academic, technical, force majeure, or low enrollment reasons.
- If a class fails due to causes attributable to GPI (e.g., provider system outage, instructor unavailability), it will be rescheduled for another day. This rescheduling does not result in refunds.
- If you can't attend, check if there's a recording or space available in another cohort; GPI doesn't guarantee replacements or equivalencies.
6) Strict NO refund policy
All sales are final. No refunds, full or partial, are available for any reason (including no-shows, personal changes, connection issues, perceived utility, etc.).
- Cancellation requests made after payment have been made do not entitle you to a refund.
- In exceptional cases and at GPI's sole discretion, we may offer internal credit for another cohort or course; this is not a vested right.
7) Payments, chargebacks and collections
- We accept payment methods listed (e.g., credit cards via WooCommerce/WooPayments/Stripe, or others). Applicable taxes and fees are added at checkout.
- Chargebacks: By purchasing, you agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting us at email@gaviotainstitute.com. GPI will dispute unauthorized chargebacks and may charge administrative fees and recovery costs if the bank improperly reverses the payment.
- If a payment is rejected, reversed, or fraudulent, GPI may suspend or cancel access without obligation to refund.
8) Access to platforms and support
- After completing your purchase, you'll receive login instructions by email. If you don't see them, check "Spam/Promotions" or email us at email@gaviotainstitute.com.
- Access may be personal and non-transferable. Sharing links, passwords, or materials with third parties is prohibited.
9) Recordings, images and audio
- Live sessions may be recorded for academic, quality, and support purposes. By participating, you agree to be recorded (voice, image, chat).
- To use your image/voice/testimonial for promotional purposes, GPI will request additional written authorization.
- Participants are prohibited from recording, screen-capturing, or broadcasting the sessions without written permission from GPI.
10) Intellectual property and limited license
- All content (videos, PDFs, slides, audio, text, trademarks) is the property of GPI or its licensors.
- We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your personal use.
- You may not copy, distribute, resell, publish, upload to networks/platforms, translate, adapt, decompile, or use the content for commercial purposes without written permission from GPI.
- You are also prohibited from using our materials to train AI models without our prior written consent.
11) Participant conduct
- Zero tolerance for harassment, offensive language, discrimination, or malicious interruptions.
- GPI may expel without refund anyone who affects the safety, respect or normal development of the course.
12) Certificates and results
- The issuance of certificates (if applicable) may require minimum percentages of attendance, activities or assessments.
- GPI does not guarantee specific results (academic, professional, emotional or financial).
13) Force majeure
GPI will not be liable for delays or inability to provide services due to causes beyond its reasonable control (disasters, massive service failures, strikes, government actions, pandemics, etc.). Rescheduling will be attempted.
14) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GPI's total liability for any claim related to the courses no excederá el monto efectivamente pagado por ti por el curso correspondiente. No responderemos por daños indirectos, incidentales, especiales, punitivos o consecuentes.
15) Compensation
You agree to indemnify and hold harmlessGPI, its staff, and instructors from any third-party claims arising from your use of the Content or your conduct in violation of these Terms.
16) Legal compliance (Florida and Puerto Rico)
- GPI complies with applicable Florida and Puerto Rico laws regarding consumer protection and data security incident notification.
- Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any rights that may not be waived under applicable local law.
17) Applicable law and dispute resolution
- Applicable law: State of Florida (USA).
- Any dispute will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration in Seminole County, Florida, under the AAA Rules. Class action and jury trial are waived to the extent permitted by law.
- For residents of Puerto Rico: This clause applies to the extent permitted by Puerto Rican law; non-waivable rights under Puerto Rican law remain in effect.
18) Modifications
GPI may update these Terms at any time. The current version will be posted on the website with the updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
